Our textbook this semester is Database Systems: The Complete Book by García-Molina, Widom, and Ullman. Any edition is fine – I will post readings based on the names in the 2nd edition, but the content doesn’t change much edition to edition. We will also use external readings from time to time. Links will be posted on the website or, if needed, pdfs can be posted on Moodle.
